A certificate documents the stone: its identity as a lab grown diamond and the grading criteria reported for it. It is a statement about the stone, not a valuation and not a durability guarantee.
When a Third-Party Report Is Needed
Some markets ask for a report from a recognised laboratory at the point of sale or import. Where that applies, the report is arranged against the stones in the order rather than added later.
